Well??? Are you going to tell us where it is located? I am extremely interested in this because I am originally from Illinois and last summer, on a two-week visit with my family, my daughter, my mother and I went to Resurrection Cemetary and Bachelor's Grove! We took a ton of pictures, but unfortunately, nothing strange showed up in the pictures...nor did anything strange happen to us when we were there. I would love to know where Graveyard X is so when I visit again, I can see it for myself.IP: Logged |

well first there is more than one cemetery X, there is one that i've never been to, but then there is anderson that is also refered to as cemetery x. i've been to anderson with some friends who took me out there but it's off the highway on some back road and i'm not sure exactly which roads you have to take to get there. but the cemetery is awesome, we matched tombstones in the cemetery with tombstones in pictures of cemetery x. I know it's about an hour from where i live and we had to go through Pana illinois to get there. Sorry i can't be of more help at this time but if i can get better directions for you i will.IP: Logged |

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could disclose the location of Graveyard X to me. Myself and a friend are shooting a short horror film, and are looking for a legit place with paranormal activity. Graveyard X sounds like it would be a cool place to shoot at. Anyone able to help me out here? Thanks.IP: Logged |

If any one goes to Cemetery X without permission from the new owners you will be arrested on the site. The new owners have contacted the CCGHS and all locations of it will be deleted. Thank you.[This message has been edited by C_C_G_H_S (edited October 28, 2004).] IP: Logged |

The owners don't have anyone arrested unless you're being an idiot. We were out there and the guy was very pleasant and allowed us to stay all night. The nearby resident (who is also the former owner) even brought us couple thermoses of hot chocolate and coffee. The one in Palmer is a Patsy. Taylor just used pictures from a cemetery with the same name so everyone would leave the real one alone. If you research it, you'll see the historical information and descriptions simply don't match the Palmer cemetery. So, either the Anderson in Palmer is a Patsy or Troy Taylor is a lousy researcher. How's that for throwing a curveball? [This message has been edited by a2z (edited December 23, 2005).] IP: Logged |

If the cemetery is on township property it is illegal to be out there after dark with out permission from the township sexton. If the cemetery is on private property then it is illegal to go out there with out going through the property legal channels first. YOU CAN BE ARRESTED FOR THIS CCGHS has rules they go by plus the wishes of the owners of the cemeteries and properties. They give out as much information they can legally and personally. DO NOT BLAME THEM FOR THAT.Real Paranormal Investigations Groups have these basic rules. This protects them, the owners, and the evidence. The Owner of one of the cemeteries, did contact CCGHS and told them to take the location off their site (even though the location is leaglly available to the public). Plus they told CCGHS that there were people saying they were CCGHS trespassing on the cemetery without permission and damage was done. The owner at that time believed it to be CCGHS, but after spending time with CCGHS, the owner apologized to CCGHS. But the word was already out and it ruined CCGHS. So The bond that CCGHS and the County was broken. Word of mouth is the best and worst advertisment. At this time they were trying to get permission to enter the other cemetery but they were denied because of had happen. So now CCGHS has to start over with building a trust with the community. That was not to long ago really. CCGHS does not lie or withold anything for greed or anything like that. If the owners say "no" to any information and location being disclose then they have to RESPECT that and so do you. And yes if you do your Research you will see Troy Taylor is telling a different Story. Plus if you do your research you can find what you are looking for. The CCGHS Yahoo Site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ccghs/ has links to public locations to the cemeteries, plus there is also the history of some of the cemeteries in the back messages. No it is not a haunted one, plus CCGHS looked up on the net and through books about sitings in the Christian County area. What ever is public knowledge CCGHS has no problem telling you but if the owners wish it not to be told then CCGHS has to obey by the owners wishes. CCGHS has never refused to give out info about how to reach the owners. If they have the way to reach them they will give it to you. One of the cemeteries, the owners you need to contact, is one the board entering the cemetery. CCGHS owns Para Studies ( http://parastudies.com )and the evidience in the Gallery is not doctored up. At least not that is of CCGHS and the owner of CCGHS. They do not even know how to doctor something like that up. The rest of the Evidence is submitted by other groups. Have a problem with their evidence then contact them. CCGHS does not know about one of the cemeteries spoken here, but the one CCGHS has been to(legally: during open hours) has activity in it. The other one the owner told CCGHS that there is no activity in it. So do not get mad at CCGHS and slam them for doing what the owners asked them to do. You do not know what is said between the owners and CCGHS. CCGHS is strict and respects the community. They do not fool around with the Paranormal and neither should you.

Hi, my name is Desiree, I have been searching for the location of graveyard X & fortunately today I stumbled upon this converstaion in hometown forums. A group of friends & I are planning a road trip downstate to Illinois to investigate paranormal sightings. I am graduating from high school soon & plan on majoring in a field of paranormal. I see that some people have been to graveyard X I was wondering if they would disclose the address to me, we are already planning to see Greenwood cemetary in Decatur, Illinois. If there are any more interesting places to see on our way down south I would very much appreciate it.IP: Logged |
