I am looking for old lakes with swimming beaches that have been CLOSED to swimming, for whatever reason, over the years. My hobby is to wade into old beaches with my metal detector and retrieval equipment to find items lost by swimmers. Any suggestions, persons to contact, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
