I am seeking information regarding the history of Highway 83 for a book I am writing. Any knowledge regarding the choosing and building of the route along with stories of any local pioneers or any person of character directly associated with the highway or original trail would be gratefully recieved. Please excuse my stupidity, but are you referring to Highway 83 in the state of Kansas, or do you mean Highway 83, better known as "The King's Highway" in southern Ontario provience of Canada?IP: Logged |
