I am trying to locate my GGGrandfather William Green Bottom who lived in Perrysville with his wife Eliza and 3 children, one of whom was my GGrandmother Mary Belle. He was born in Boyle co. in l825 to John Bottom and Elizabeth Whitter, he died in Boyle Co. in l864.
My GGrandmother Mary said that she and her brother went to give their father lunch on his property and found him shot to death. I am trying to locate a death record or obit or where he is buried, any help would be appreciated. Thank you Pat(from Michigan)

My name is Kelly Thompson. My paternal grandmother was Cleo Bottom, daughter of Pearlie & Oze from Knifley, Ky. I saw your posting and emailed my aunt in Springfield, IL. Maybe she will have some info for you. Keeping my fingers crossed.
