I am a local Geocacher and I am researching the Overton Mill that is located on Otter Creek in Meade County. Overton Mill was located about 2 miles down stream from the Otter Creek Mill located at garnettsville. The question that I have is why was there a mill located down stream from the larger mill? I know that there was two communties located down stream, Plain Dealings and Sterret. I assume that Overton Mill served both of these communties. I would like to have information on this mill if any exists.
There was also another mill located at Morgans Cave that I would also like to have information to write a historical brief for one of my caches.

Any information appreciated.
Thanks
Basset
