My father was born near Cotton Plant at aplace called Trappers Island. His family name was Robertson. He was put up for adoption as a baby and knows almost nothing of his family except that they ran a lumber business in the Cache River bottoms and that his father's name was James Robertson. Does anyone have any clues that I might follow as to the whereabouts of this family, both living and dead?

My grandmother lives in Cotton Plant, AK. She is about 67 years old and she might have information about this person. She has lived there all of her life. My family still lives in AK. I live in Chicago. Her name is Ernestine Palmer. Look her up on the white pages and call her at home. People from the South are very nice.
