researching family tree
area: Open Hall, Melrose, Tickle Cove, Sweet Bay, Red Cliffe
family names include: Jim/Margaret/Josephine Barker, Mullowey, Maloney, Richard Feehan, Elizabeth Cullimore, Maurice Legge, Gertrude Maloney-Faulkner, Chievers or Cheevers

1st born was Thomas born abt. 1773 on boat Irish Mist coming to Newfoundland from Sligo, Ireland. His father was William Mullowney, wife unknown. Thomas married Elizabeth Cullimore.

My grandfather was Michael Maloney born of John Maloney/Mullowney and Helen White. Married Josephine Barker of James and Margaret (Mr. Jim and Mrs. Meg) Barker.

Some family immigrated to NY and Boston area. Most were iron workers.

Any assistance greatly appreciated. Also would like more info on the Irish Mist.
