Hello. I just found your site here, and I'm not surprised to see very little in the way of community forums or bulletin boards for my area. I live in Salisbury and the community has no sort of forums that I could find at all. Ocean City has a few geared toward surfers and fisherman, but there was nothing in the way of Salisbury, or the rest of the penninsula so I've started my own BB. It's somewhat political, though I try to keep it neutral, there were actual community issues that led me to search out a forum for local discussion in the first place, because Salisbury is having a lot of problems over growth and our mayor and city council right now, I kind of led off on that note. None the less, I hope to turn the boards there into an online community entity of themselves for any local purposes, good or bad. I'm trying to build a user base now, and I found your site while searching to see if my own had made the ranking yet. Fellow Marylanders and anyone interested in my area, or forums in general please visit these brand new boards. My hope is to give the local people here a place to share their voices. Yayy! I go to school in Salisbury and this town is really messed up the way the treat the students and poor people. No offense, but I like the forums.IP: Logged |

If you are talking about college students,then maybe I can answer that for you. Some college students moved in next to me a little mor ethan a yaer ago. Since then I have had to repeatedly call the police on them for the noise and the drunken parties they have.I am not the only on ethat has done so. They have no respect for the people that live in this town or the police. I have talked to some officers and they have told me about seeing them on the road and the students giving them the finger. We do not need this kind of disrespect and conduct. I am also not the only one in this town having trouble with college students.The police and the landlords of where these students live are in the process of having them removed from the premises. It is because of the conduct and disrespect the college students have that warrant the treatment they receive. You do not come into a town and think you are going to get away with such stupid actions. We are not going to put up with it, and will not allow it. The Salisbury and surrounding areas are OUR home.
