Hello,Iam trying to find some Military info on a Jack Harper who was born in Port Huron Mich on Dec 20 1920. He was a USAF Veteran of WW2, He and his wife Joy Ballard Harper now deceased were married on March 21 1942. They had 4 children Jack,Roxann,Amy,Beth all still living in the Hazel Park area of Mich. Jack Harper died in Hilton Convalescent Home in Hazel Park, Mich on March 20 1997 of heart failure. I need to know if this Jack Harper was ever stationed in England Burtonwood AFB 1942-1943. Does anyone know of this Gentleman? His Military Background? Can anyone shed some light on any of this? Much needed info, many thanks. IP: Logged |

From the way you word your request, it's obvious that think you might be related. If so, that makes it easier. (1) Contact the Social Security Administration here in the United States. Provide them with his name, date of birth and date of death, and also any "other paperwork" that you deem necessary to verify your relationship. They will provide you with his original Social Security number (SSN). (2) With the information you mentioned in your message, his SSN and any "other paperwork", you can now contact the Department of Veteran Services to obtain a copy of his military service record. Be aware, however, that if he was involved in some type of "black operations", that area of his record will be deleted. Good luck in your search IP: Logged | |
