Through the write a prisoner website my wife wrote regularly to a decent chap who was meant to serve up to 30 more years pennance. His appeal was upheld after he had served 10 years;(judge interrupted the defence 40 times, the prosecution once:split jury---judge polled them individually!)if only my wig were so powerfull!!! Immediate release in FEBRUARY this year;and since then no word has been heard of him. He's called Earl Ray Lyell aged @42yrs.Prefers to be called Ray.He has family in/near Wyandotte My wife was upset when her last letter to him was dropped back through our mailbox. She'd just like to know how he is and if her letters were of help to him.Remember, she was prepared to carry on writing for possibly 30 more years. If you can help me to help her worry,I'd be most grateful. Thanks for listening Eric[This message has been edited by ericmd (edited March 08, 2007).] IP: Logged |
