hi i am brant zijlstra from leeuwarden,friesland-holland
i am trying to find out what happend with an familymember
his name is sjoer(t)(d) postema
is son of haije postema mother geertje loonstra and is born
01-july-1880 in opende,grootegast,groningen,holland
he left holland around 1900-1905 not sure of the exact date but found in the ellis records sjvert postema age 23 from groningen and arrived with the noordam at 07-july-1903
maybe this is my familymember
then begins the search where did he go he didn't have much money and his profession was blacksmith, what my father told me he went to texas or mexico but he is not sure sjoert wrote with his sister (my fathers grandma) but all the letters burnt when sie died the only one that i found in records is a george postema born 01 july 1880 died jan 1970 in montana
