Tom Just find the forum ! - You won't find a badge or crest for HMS Broadway, one of the First World War US destroyer escorts handed over to Britain under the Lease-Lend scheme. These did not have custom badges generally, although a few did commission unofficial badges. Broadway was the ship that forced the 'Enigma' submarine U110 to the surface, bringing with it the coding machine that changed the tide of the war. My father served in her later on as 2nd Lieut & Anti-Submarine warfare officer. Hope that saves you some tired eyes trawling the net!IP: Logged |
