Last week my husband and I had to fly to Houston, TX, to arrange, attend and bury my Mother. While awaiting our return flight we got a cell call from my Father-in-law, who told us someone had MURDERED our SERVICE DOG! My Father-in-law, Bill Gales, came twice a day while we were gone to check on our dogs, and give them a treat. We have a doggie door, so that our “fur babies” can come and go into and out of the house. We have two 5-foot fences (one older one, and one chain link inside the older fence) around our yard, and our “fur babies” cannot possibly get out, they never have even tried.
Let me tell you something about our precious “General Fuzzy.” He was the most gentle, loving dog, 4 years old, a purebred German Shepherd, son of a Championship German Shepherd. “General Fuzzy,” who was a Certified Service Dog. Being a Service Dog, means he was allowed into any of our local nursing homes, and other facilities to visit the elderly and sick, and bring joy and warmth to them.
We also have 2 Miniature Schnauzers, one who was exactly “General Fuzzy’s” age, and they thought they were littermates. Our “General Fuzzy,” and his “litter mate” Tara, played together all of the time; we also have a 15-year-old Miniature German Schnauzer, and it was amazing to watch out gently “General Fuzzy” would play with each of these small dogs. Tara who thought “General Fuzzy,” is now in obvious grief too.
From what we know, “General Fuzzy” was alive Thursday, March 24th, at least until 4:00pm. Sometime between 4:00PM March 24th and 3:00PM, some cowardly, sick, dastardly, immoral, lily-livered, pusillanimous, gutless, yellow bellied MURDER came to the dog’s side yard, and WITHOUT REASON, killed this precious dog with a shot gun.
There was no way the dog could possibly have reached or hurt him, and like the dastardly chicken, this MURDERED is, he killed this beautiful dog, and now not only do we have to work through the grief of losing my Mom, now we deeply grieve the lost of our precious “General Fuzzy”. There are also many sickly and elderly in local nursing homes who will now miss the sweet visits that “General Fuzzy” made to them.
REMEMBER, if you live in this area, Dale County, Houston, County, etc., your pet is also at risk – since this is such a pointless, cowardly person. ALSO, REMEMBER many murders start out killing animals, and move on to killing people!!!
The front part of our property faces Dale County 21 South, near the intersection of Dale County 21 and Alabama 123. For those local to this area, we live in what was the Italian Villa, that faces Ard’s pond. If you have vital information, confirmable information on this Murder, e-mail me immediately. .
We live on a dead in road, and there was no legal reason for anyone to be on this road, except perhaps to poach a well-known local fishing pond at night (the pond is clearly posted NO FISHING).
From the front of the house, it is difficult to even see the dogs, as there is a very tall wooden privacy fence.
WE ARE OFFERING A REWARD OF $1,000, FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST AND CONVICTION OF THE PERSON/PERSONA WHO COMMITTED THE MURDER, OF OUR “GENERAL FUZZY.)
THE ONLY CLUES I can offer, is that a shotgun was used, and possibly the same coward came by the next night. When we were phoned about the Murder, we call 2 of our church friends, and they went to the house, took our baby to a local vet so that he might be cremated. These two brothers in the Lord, then return to our house, and stood guard on the house & dogs until we were able to get back from Houston, Texas, which was after midnight, March 25th. They told us that during the night a vehicle started to turn into this dead in road, and one of our guards stepped out of his truck, and started walking toward the incoming vehicle, and the vehicle then stopped, and “dug out” speeding away.
IF YOU HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS MURDER, please write me at:

ANY information will be most deeply appreciated, and as said before, if such information leads to the arrest and conviction of this Murder, we will gladly pay you $1,000.00
