Hello future neighbors,
I presently live in Seattle. I have been here for 7 years. I moved to Seattle from Atlanta where I lived for 17 years. I was born and raised in Washington DC. I looked at the demographics for Mobile and it fits the criteria for my new home. Now I would like to learn more about the city. Could someone tell me about the make up of the different neighborhoods. I like living in a diverse area. I like families as wells as young singles, artsy types, and "people of alternative lifestyles". Which neighborhoods fit this description in Mobile?

In my humble opinion, the best area in Mobile that would fit your requirements would be the neighborhoods that surround the University of South Alabama. Good luck in your move, and welcome back to the South ...
