I am researching several relatives who once lived in Crete (back in 1880-1885). I am in the process of writing a brief history of them and wondered if any information was available on them. My great grandfather was Perkins Richardson; his daughter, Emma Louise Richardson was a "teacher of painting" there and married a railroad station-master named Dillin Brook Cherry. Also, about what was the population of Crete in that time period? Thanks,
