Carol - I posted to you on the Virtual Newark site but do not know if you got the message. My family and I used to take girls from the orphanage for holidays and the summer for vacation. I posted that info on the Newark site and heard from one girl - Manno is the last name. Our family knew Debbie Moriarity and her sister Eleanor (deceased), Cathy Camp, Linda Hopkins, Sylvia (don't recall her last name but she had beautiful blue eyes). Feel free to e-mail me at ahavemann@hotmail.com NancyIP: Logged |

I lived at St Marys Orphanage on South Orange Ave. N.J. approx. 1942-1944. Am seeking out other people living today, that were there during those years. Wondering if I could get info. on St. Josephs Boys School in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. from 1944-1951. Thanks, Kenn ------------------ Kenn IP: Logged |
