Several years ago a woman wrote from New Mexico to my husband's father and his wife in Massachusetts saying that her four sons were his. Nothing ever happened because of this letter and it can't be found today. The woman's last name may have been Gonzales.

Unfortunately, I have no names to help in my search. I don't know if Joe was married to this woman or not. I don't know if the children carry the name Mangiafico or not.

My husband was never able to meet his father, but I have found some of his brothers and sisters. There are still siblings unaccounted for and I would really like to unite them as well. They also need to be aware of medical history.

I believe these four boys were born in Portsmouth, Virginia in the early sixties.

Joe Mangiafico was an Italian in the US Navy. He was a Boston native, but stationed in Norfolk, Virginia 1959-1962 aboard the USS BORIE. He was also a barber.
