please share your thoughts and memories of these artists and poets who lived in El Rito in the mid to late 1960's. They wrote and published Haiku from the Sangre de Cristo Press. Foster also Sculpted, they both painted. Rhoda also taught Piano. They also lived in San Diego, New Orleans, Grand Rapids, Sante Fe, Albequerque,Hawaii, etc. They lived right off Hwy 554, near Martins general store. I've learned the store is now for sale, and I wonder if the owners remember them, and can be reached to talk about their rememberance of this couple. Thanks for giving them some thought. If you or someone you know still owns a piece of their artwork, or poetry I would love to hear from them. Granddaughter Researching.
