We are trying to find out if the Nordic Stove Manufacturing Co. still exists and if so how to contact them. The address on the side of the stove just says Lovelock, Nevada. Any help would be appreciated as we need a part. Thanks.IP: Logged |

JanI also have a Nordic Stove (Norseman) and am looking for parts. I called Loveland information and was told that no such listing existed. They must have moved or gone out of business. What I wonder is if anyone is sitting on a bunch of parts for the stoves. Most companies that go out of business leave parts around. Dave IP: Logged |

I've recieved several emails from people on this subject too. So far it sounds like though the company made great stoves, they're gone. Hopefully someone will show up some day with a place for parts. Thanks to the ones who have replied.IP: Logged |

I also have an Erik Woood Coal Combination fireplace insert manufactured by Nordic Stove Manufacturing, Inc. for which I now need grates. Their address was Rt. 1, Box 94, Lovelock, Nevada. They became part of American Road Equipment Co. at 4201 N. 26th Street, Omaha, NE 68111. I found out that a man by the name of John Agee was involved in both companies. Several years ago, I contacted the chamber of commerce and the Douglas County Historical Society and neither of which had any idea of where this man or the two companies went. I did just stumble upon a place called woodman's Parts Plus (www.woodmanspartplus.com). They have a bunch of grates, different sizes, etc. I have to measure things up and hope one fits. Did anyone else have any luck??? Dan McCarthy.IP: Logged |
