Looking for information on Samuel M. Hill and family of Fayetteville. According to his obit from the Fayetteville Observer, early October 1897, he was the Chief Of Police in Fayetteville "when the county was young." He is buried at Rose Hill Cemetery. Samuel M. Hill was my great Grandfather. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has been my "brick wall" for many years.

Thanks,
Suzanne
