Need to know if there are any Ferrell's in Putnam county or near by. My family is from here and also Granville. My grandfather's name was Arch Collyer Smith and my grandmother was Lassie Phene Ferrell-Smith. We have our family reunions there in Silver Point at this community center. Our next one is the 6th of August. I understand that there were some caucasians there for the first time. Yes I am black but there is alot of Indian in my grandmother and my grandfather's father was white. I am from Detroit, Michigan and will be there for the 2nd time. Am interested to know any relatives and the area of Silver Point, Cookeville (my father Perry was born) and Granville where my grandmother was born. Her father was Green Ferrell and her mother was Mary (Gardenhire, I believe)Ferrell. Would appreciate any info.
