There is a will on file in Accomack County for John Stockley died 1670 in which he leaves a 2500 acre plantation to his wife. My research indicates that Stockley was born in Jamestowne in 1621 but his name does not appear on the list of Jamestowne residents. Can anyone help me document Stockley's birth in Jamestowne and help explain why his name is not on the 1624/25 muster roll.
Thanks.
