On April 19th, 2005 @ approx. 6:30p.m., Maria Del Refugio Aguilar was shot to death in her home on Howard Ave. in Los Alamitos. Someone saw a man exit the residence, by climbing out through a bedroom window, then running out towards the street. He was dressed in black and carrying a duffel bag. The police released a composite sketch of the suspect based on witness descriptions. Please take the time to look at the drawing because the man depicted still runs free! If you know anything about this man, or his whereabouts, please contact Det. Ken Sayles (562) 431-2255 ext. 488 at the Los Alamitos Police Department.
