FYI for any interested parties. Montrose Hospital directed San Juan Healthcare Foundation to raise a million dollars for the Cancer Center. So far they are at their half way mark. But do the donors realize that the San Juan Cancer Center is a Limited Liability Corporation? This Center was opened for the convenience of those requiring treatment. It was opened to make money for the three owners. This million dollars is going into the pockets of very wealthy investors. It is not going for free treatment. It is not going to one ounce of research. The hospital had to come up with this plan to use San Juan Healthcare Foundation so that all the donors could legally write off their contributions. Did Montrose Hospital need the money to finance their share? You tell me. They got about $600,000 credit for the land. Where did they come up with that estimate? Over the last four years the Hospital has increased their assets over $6,000,000. Would not this million dollar drive be more use in reseach than going to three wealthy entities to pocket? You be the judge. This has been brought to the attention of MMH, Bosom Buddies, Mrs. Smiles,Montrose Press,Kix radio, Montrose Monitor and others and their has been no response by anyone. One other thought, Did anyone ever tell the owners of the land surrounding the Centers property that they were going to have a nuclear reactor in their back yards? There seems to be a great deal of property up for sale there now! Did we forget to have a public meeting or something so these land owners could have been heard, or doesn't the county or city have to do that?? Has anyone ever heard of Quorum Health Resources? Thank You.IP: Logged |
