I know it has been a while since you origially posted your question. I also have a Priscilla Turner rug that is 11 x 13. I am considering selling it but have no idea of its value. Can you point me in a direction to find out more? Thanks, Jane Ballard IP: Logged |

My husband and I just sold the building last year where the rugs were made. My grandmother also worked there. My mom told stories of going to work with her mother and playing in the yarn bins. Sounds like they allowed the kids to be there, just not in certain parts of the building. The women who made the rugs referred to themselves as "hookers". That always raised eyebrows when I said my grandmother was a hooker. As for the value of the rugs, I am not sure. I would be interested to see who it was that hooked the rug. They were all signed on the tag on the back of the rug. Do you still have the tag?IP: Logged |
