Many years ago, in 1952, I was the truck driver for Camp Arcadia for Boys, on the Belgrade Lakes. I am interested to find out if the camp is still there and operating. If not, what has taken its place. Any information would be appreciated. Benjamin PlattIP: Logged |

Hi Ben, The name doesn't sound familiar. The camp may have changed hands and consequently changed names. Do you remember where in the lakes it was located?

Thank you again for your reply. I have just spoken to a friend who spent every summer of his childhood at Camp Arcadia for Boys, and he tells me that it was on Salmon Lake. Maybe that will help. Thanks again. Ben PlattIP: Logged |

Ben, I've sent this page to the Belgrade Town Office and hopefully they can respond better than I. Good Luck, Matt

I now live on Arcadia Cove Road, which is a 9 lot subdivision where the camp used to be. Do you happen to have any old pictures of the area?IP: Logged |
