We plan to visit Oakland, Waterville, Norridgewock and Smithfield this fall. Need info on the best time for weather, fall foliage, etc.

Traditionally the best time for the fall foliage is the 2nd or 3rd week in October. As far as the weather goes.. it is anyones guess as to what it'll be doing at that point.
