I have learned that Angel was indeed given away to someone living in Belgrade. However, I am not being told where, because the person who gave her away thinks I will make trouble. This is NOT the case at all. At this point, I would be perfectly willing to allow this individual to keep Angel. All I ask is that I could at least come say good bye to her and see with my own eyes, that she is being taken care of. I am not an unreasonable person as the person who gave her away has led the new owners to believe. All I want is peace of mind and to put this behind me. I am a caring person, who loves animals and I just want reassurance that she is OK. Also, I wanted to convey that if at some point this person decides they should not want her, I would gladly take her back, since I would not want to see her given away to numerous households or brought to an animal shelter. This was a real unfortunate event and I just want to put closure to it and get things handled in a calm and reasonable manner. If anyone who reads this can help I would certainly appreciate it.
