Muddy Pond Tennessee....severe child abuse case...
www.TateFamily.cjb.net Pretty wild story. We couldn't get anywhere with adoption records.
So we decided to put the info into a web-site.
By leaving info out there making it easy for the siblingsvwho might be searching as well to find their names while searching online.
I created the web-site and it served as a "message in the bottle".
Turns out....one of the older brothers......
whom we thought might have been dead....
(and I even had a John Doe in mind that could've been him......)
called Alan on Wednesday morning.
Until he read the story online,
he had no idea what had happened to his siblings or father.
But his wife called me and they had been looking for them for at least 6 years.....
and found the web-site just this week.
He too was a victim of abuse.
One of the concerns now is.....the father appears to be out of prison.
The wife of the older brother, Alan Ray, questioned me about Alan's
interest in finding his siblings. Of course she wanted to verify his intentions
and insure he had no contact with his father.
I was able to calm her fears.....and allow her to know that John Alan
is committed only to locating his siblings and has no desire to
have contact with their father.
We hope to continue efforts to reach the other children....
as they are indeed victims....
And they are continuing to suffer as a result of the crimes of their
father. Keeping them apart is only maintaining the pain for the ones who
remember.
Sometimes these victims are the ones that are hard to recognize...
but they suffer all the same.
Naturally.....the 3 brothers would like to hear from their siblings...
and let them know their father is out of prison and might seek them out.
As of August 17.....only 4 of the children will be under the age of 18 years old.
The location of this brother is a major step for the Tate family as now 3 are looking for the remaining siblings.
