I am looking for any information about my father who passed away in 1920 or 1921 in Birtle, Manitoba and also my uncle Jim Fisher who passed away shortly after WWII.

David Morton enquiry
My great uncle was James Anderson Fisher brother of Alexay Fisher who married David Morton in Kirkcaldy Fife Scotland. They all emigrated to Canada in the early 1900's. James enlisted in the Canadian Scottish regiment in 1916 and was killed in France in 1917. He lived in Birtle at that time. I have gathered this information from family in Scotland but I have also been trying to trace any family still in Manitoba. I would be interested to know if this is the same family.
Regards
Nancy
